Bahrain for All (BHR4All)

Founded in 2002, Bahrain for All (BHR4All) has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the Bahrain community. The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we take part in. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Our mutual resolve was to inspire optimization of budgets with a genuine long- term impact on society through; alignment of thinking, integration of activities, and the active engagement of key stakeholders.

Public Events

Since 2002 we have organised numerous public events with the aim to sensitise the general public to this special community. During our public inclusive events, queries are often raised about the spectrum of Special Needs, indicating a lacuna in the knowledge of disability.

The agonising stigma of having a child with different abilities stills stands. In partnership with other organisations, ConsultNivs our aim was to share some burden of care by readdressing a short-term “charity-based donation” to one of enduring partnership, empathy and collaboration.

Our Events have attracted over 50,000 attendees at each public event and received gracious support from the public and private sectors.

BHR4All Inclusive Summer Camp

In 2019,  an inclusive summer camp was organized at the Bahrain Institute of Hotel and Retail. With the support of the Ministry of Interior, generous sponsors and a group of volunteers, a free of charge 6-week inclusive camp was implemented. The camp consisted of 20 students with varying conditions and was perhaps the first of its kind in the region.

The significant findings of the camp were summarized through different categories based on individual and group performance. These categories ranged from social skills, sensory overload, perspective taking skills to assisted living, capacity building and parental/family support services. Moreover, the outcome of this camp also highlighted the essential gap in the services that exist for children with special needs, the lack of awareness and the need to create a more inclusive environment through establishing an openness in mind set pertaining to this section of the society, which are largely silenced and stigmatized.
